Norikura Plateau Hot Spring - Yukemurikan
Norikura Kogen Onsen 乗鞍高原温泉 - 湯けむり館
Nestled deep within the Northern Japan Alps, at the foot of Mt. Norikura (10th highest mountain in Japan) is a traditional hot spring. This onsen, with the source being from the nationally renowned Shirahone Onsen, has the unique white sulphuric blend of soothing water to relax your tired body.
You can refresh yourself after an invigorating day of snowboarding, mountain biking or hiking in one of it's indoor or outdoor baths as you look at the stars or as the snow gentle sprinkles your face. Inside is a large wood stove stoked to keep you warm and local beer to quench your thirst. This onsen is definitely a must in your travels in the Northern Japan Alps!
