Ikegami Hyakuchikutei (Tea-ceremony Room)
Ikegami Hyakuchikutei is a historical Japanese house with garden, located at just a few min walk northward from the castle.
It has a full-scale tea-ceremony room (tyashitsu) with a tea garden.
It is used as a community center (kominkan), but also a perfect place to feel Japanese traditional culture including tea ceremony and enjoy Japanese gardens. Especially, fall foliage of the garden is beautiful.
You can look inside the tea room and garden freely when it is not used (it is used only a few times a month).
